Hello my name is Jessica Oviedo and I graduated from the University of Houston. Go Coogs! This will be my 7th year teaching. I did 4 years in kindergarten, 1 year in third grade, and going on my 2nd year in 4th grade. Something about myself is I enjoy my free time with my family and daughter.

I am a proud first-generation college graduate in my family! I was also a recipient of the Bilingual Homegrown Scholarship and am a proud Aldine product. I attended the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD), and I am incredibly proud of this accomplishment. 26 years in education. 11 years teaching.

Two things about me:
I have been a soccer mom for many years, and although my son aged out of his soccer association this past summer, my love for soccer is still going strong!
The 2026 World Cup was definitely one of the highlights of my summer! I LOVE SOCCER!
